Emergency Power Systems for Evacuation Lifts and Lighting
These purpose built systems are designed to supply power to emergency evacuation lifts and/ or emergency lighting fittings and exit signs when the mains power supply has failed. The units are intended for use in all types of public buildings including schools, libraries, hospitals, airports and offices.
If required the systems for lifts and lighting can combined into one unit with both functions.
Below is our current range of Emergency Power Systems:
Power Systems for Emergency Evacuation Lifts
ELPS 20 Series
The Emergency Power System (ELPS) can be used on any dedicated emergency evacuation lift, whether traction or hydraulic, in an emergency or when the mains power has failed. This standby power system can be installed on emergency evacuation elevators in schools, libraries, hospitals, and other public buildings.
The operation is by means of a remote control key switch panel supplied with the ELPS for installation close to the to the lift call panel on the ground floor or landings. Once in action the internal battery is sized to support the inverter load for ten upward and ten downward journeys, controlled by an authorised person.

Power Systems for Emergency Lighting
Small Systems - ELS D Series
These compact dimensioned Emergency Lighting Systems (ELS) supply a centralised source of power to dedicated light circuits for open offices, stairways or emergency exit routes in all kinds of public premises.
When the public power fails, the digitally controlled intelligent power systems provide AC 230V backup power to four dedicated circuits of lighting fittings and exit signs in the premises in order to illuminate the way to the emergency exit.
