| It is not
possible for any manufacturer to produce high quality
products for low prices. Low prices equates to questionable
quality and long after the sweetness of low prices is
forgotten the bitterness of poor quality remains as
a permanent reminder to those customers who unfortunately
bought an unsuitable ‘standard’ commercial
product for an industrial critical duty application.
Quality is everyone’s first concern
at Power Systems International Limited, every individual
has a defined role in the ISO 9001:2000 Quality management
process and it is the nerve centre of our company operations.
Critical to the functioning of the
quality management process is the need for precise communications
between the sales, technical, engineering, commercial
and manufacturing team also with subcontractors and
suppliers. Equally important is the close communication
with the customer to update them with the status of
any order or project following our regular review meetings
we use for monitoring the manufacturing process.
Each customer’s order is entered
into our order processing and manufacturing process
following our quality management protocol, this covers
purchasing, monitoring of incoming materials through
to final factory tests. Customers and their consultants,
on request, may attend supplementary product tests after
the standard factory tests have been completed.
We record the test results on test certificates which
is our assurance to the customer of the product’s
conformance to specification. We can also undertake
full type testing for EMC, RFI and other sophisticated
requirements such as Seismic Vibration, Tempest, Panavia
etc.
Our products are used in critical applications
that demand continuous, long term, trouble free performance
and reliability thus our ISO 9001:2000 component selection
and sub assembly audit procedure demands a critical
evaluation of our suppliers. The conceptual design of
our product and eventual performance and reliability
depends upon the close team effort cooperation between
Power Systems International Limited and our suppliers
as a ‘total’ quality approach necessary
to maintain our niche market position. |
